We began Caluwal (Kal-OO-Wal) Designs through our passion to develop short-term rental properties located in some of the most unique places in the United States.  While those flourish, Lindsey is busy designing homes and Kirtis ensures the business operates optimally.  We hope to share our design knowledge in fields including residential design, commercial design, furniture design and audio/visual design/integration with others.

Lindsey is an interior designer who has worked in various interior design fields including, residential design and renovation, office furniture and workplace design, and office audio/visual integration.

We have worked on updating our home residence from a blank slate to a cozy, inviting home where every room has its own unique feeling. We hope to bring new visions to life for other homeowners through meticulously designed spaces that are unique to each individual.

While making our primary home our own, we ventured out to designing and owning a tiny home in Hocking Hills, OH. A total of 390 sqft. invites the outdoors in with custom oak walls, beautiful hardwood floors, and a porch that overlooks nature's beauty. Now listed on AirBnB as 'Mystic Hollow', come stay amongst the tranquil trees and calming breeze of Hocking Hills.
